Two galaxies make up the top and bottom of an hourglass (connected by gravity/time). The hourglass and needle are visually “time” warping.
The thread of time wraps loosly around the middle of the hourglass and through the eye of the needle, indicating time passes through. The thread extends off the page in both directions.
This sketch relates, or expands on, the Split Reality sketch about two connected galaxies on either side of a black hole!
Creative thinking tangent 🙂
Gavity-time would be relative to the centre of our black hole. “Time” is faster at the edge of a galaxy (less gravity) and slower near the centre (more gravity). Relative speed might be the same in both locations. Outside of our galaxy, time is no longer be relative to us?
